The shape of the room traditionally assists you in getting the right shape for your rug. This means that a large rectangular living room would most often than not get a large rectangular rug; while a square room will get a square rug. So remember if you need to pick out a shape for your floor rugs, don’t restrict yourself to the common shapes. Try out a different shaped rug such as a square rug, a round rug, an oval rug, or even a long runner rug and you will be able to get a look that is more personalized and suited to your needs.
